Terms for Sunday and Bank Holiday Fee Increase and Hourly Billing Adjustments
1. Sunday and Bank Holiday Fee Increase
A 15% surcharge applies to all services scheduled on Sundays and recognized UK bank holidays.
The surcharge will be added to the standard hourly rate and included in the final invoice.
Example: If the standard hourly rate is £22/hour, the Sunday and bank holiday rate will be £25.30/hour.
2. Hourly Billing Policy
Billing Units: All services are billed in increments of 30 minutes, rounded to the nearest half-hour.
Services exceeding a full hour but under the next 30-minute mark will be rounded up to the nearest half-hour.
Example: 1 hour and 10 minutes of cleaning will be billed as 1.5 hours.
Overtime Charges: If the service exceeds the booked time by more than 15 minutes, the additional time will be rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes and billed accordingly.
Example: For a 2-hour booking that extends to 2 hours and 20 minutes, the billable time will be rounded up to 2.5 hours.
3. Communication Regarding Additional Time
Clients are advised to communicate any expected need for extended service time at the start of the session.
Cleaners will inform clients if the scope of work exceeds the initially booked duration and will seek approval before continuing.
4. Payment Terms
The adjusted fees, including surcharges for Sunday or bank holiday services and additional billing for extended time, will be reflected in the final invoice.
Payments are due in accordance with the standard payment policy of the service agreement.
5. Booking and Cancellation Policies
Standard booking and cancellation terms apply to services on Sundays and bank holidays, with the surcharge remaining applicable for last-minute changes.
Cancellation Policy
At Prime Method Cleaning, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness and efficiency for both our clients and our team, please review our cancellation policy below:
Cancellation Notice
For Regular Weekly/Bi-Weekly Cleaning Services:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled cleaning.
For One-Off or Deep Cleaning Services:
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the scheduled cleaning.
Late Cancellation Fee
If you cancel your appointment within the notice period:
Regular Cleaning: A 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
One-Off or Deep Cleaning: A 100% cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service.
Rescheduling
We’re happy to reschedule your cleaning at no additional cost if notice is provided within the required timeframe.
No-Show Policy
If our team arrives at the scheduled location and cannot access the property or the appointment is canceled upon arrival:
A full-service fee will be charged.
Refunds
Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 5–7 business days, minus any applicable cancellation fees..

General guidelines for the cleaning needs
How long does it take to clean?
1. Regular Weekly Cleaning
Studio/1-Bedroom: 2–3 hours
2-Bedroom: 3–4 hours
3-Bedroom: 4–5 hours
4+ Bedrooms: 5+ hours
Regular cleaning includes basic tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
2. Deep Cleaning
Studio/1-Bedroom: 4–6 hours
2-Bedroom: 6–8 hours
3-Bedroom: 8–10 hours
4+ Bedrooms: 10+ hours
Deep cleaning includes tasks like scrubbing appliances, cleaning inside cupboards, and tackling built-up grime.
3. Carpet Cleaning
1 Room: 30–60 minutes
2 Rooms: 1–1.5 hours
3 Rooms: 1.5–2.5 hours
Whole House (3-Bedroom): 2.5–4 hours
Carpet cleaning time depends on the condition of the carpet and drying time requirements.
4. Window Cleaning (Interior Only)
Studio/1-Bedroom: 1 hour
2-Bedroom: 1–1.5 hours
3-Bedroom: 1.5–2 hours
4+ Bedrooms: 2+ hours
Time may increase if there are a lot of large or hard-to-reach windows.
5. Appliance Cleaning (Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, etc.)
Single Appliance: 30–45 minutes
2 Appliances: 1–1.5 hours
All Appliances (Kitchen): 2–3 hours
Time varies based on the level of buildup and whether pre-treatment is required.
6. End-of-Tenancy Cleaning
Studio/1-Bedroom: 6–8 hours
2-Bedroom: 8–10 hours
3-Bedroom: 10–12 hours
4+ Bedrooms: 12+ hours
This includes deep cleaning of the entire property, including windows, carpets, and appliances.
